It's hard to say. I think Pitt is more consistently good than Cruise, but Cruise gives better performances than Pitt on a good day, if that makes sense.
i have to go with pitt, he can do a lot off different roles, like goofy characters from 12 monkeys and burn after reading to stuff like oceans 13 and mr and mrs smith
Brad Pitt defiantly imo. Se7en, Fight Club, Assassination of Jesse James, Benjamin Button, Burn After Reading, Snatch, Twelve Monkeys...Tom Cruise is good but I really dont think any of his performances are anything special other then his character in Collateral.

ye right???? Brad Pitt way better then RDjr Ironman is overhyped I'm just not a fan of Robert Downey Jr, he is a good actor though. I think it's kind of ridiculous when people say Tom Cruise isn't a good actor. This scene alone proves he's a great actor.

Didnt watch, because is that Magnolia? Ive been dieing to see it. Tom Cruise is a good actor, i thought he was great in Collateral, but I like Pitt better.

Yeah, it's Magnolia. Don't watch it if you've been wanting to see the movie. I'm just saying he's a great actor. The scene in Minority Report when he finds out that he's going to kill that guy is amazing.

he was hilarious in that film, great move on his part though, who ever told him to do that was genius. Yeah, and the fact that he could basically make fun of himself by doing such a ridiculous role.. he was just too funny.. he overshadowed Jack Black, Ben Stiller, and Robert Downey Junior imo..
