As of late, Jeremy Hotz is good. Mitch Hedberg has always been a favortie of mine. Old-school Eddie Murphy was also funny.
Demetri Martin is probably the most clever comedian out there. His material is subtle and intelligent, unlike A LOT of comedians today (Mencia, Cook, etc.)
