I think you are thinking of Jim Gaffigan.

For me, my favorite comedians are Larry the cable guy, Dane Cook, George Lopez, and Carlos Mencia.

I still dont know why Mencia gets a bad rap. He is almost exactly like George Carlin, only funnier.
