Who liked I am legend SPOILERS

well i just saw the movie today and that was one of the greatest movies ever made IMO. the ending was pretty crazy though but i dont he should of sacrificed himself he could of threw it and then got in the hatch thing.

your thoughts?

I thought the same thing about the ending but he could have gotten in the hatch and then thrown it rather than throwing it and then getting in the hatch. I liked the movie but didn't think it was one of the best ever.

definitly to many parts in the movie that they don't explain.

1) How did the people become they way they did. yea we know they took the medicine but how did they de-volve if thats a word

2) how teh ^&*& did the chick get to the harbor if all the bridges were blown to contain the infection?

3) how come some animals were but some wern't vurnable to infection?

4) same as three but with humans in its place

i know i should read the book but until then someone care to expalin

The movie was decent, not even close to the best, but I do want that dog, best charactor of the movie in my opinion.bigrebel78920

Thats even lamer than the crappy ending it already has. They messed up this movie, why even call it I am legend if it has pretty much nothing to do with the book and messes up the whole point of the title I am legend.

1. It mutated into an airborne strain as well. They say that explicitly in the movie several times. Not to mention there were carriers roaming around attacking people.

2. I don't know NYC well enough to answer that. I'm pretty sure that only Manhattan is an island though (or was he on Manhattan Island? Like I said I don't know NYC very well). Assuming he was locked in by water though she could have gotten a boat or something. Its not too hard to imagine that they got there.

3. It's called "immunity". Thanks to a varied gene pool and assuming that a specie's numbers are large enough some members of a species will usually be immune to a given disease due to genetic factors. Look at the bubonic plague: some people died within 24 hours of showing symptoms while others were around bodies all day and never got sick.

This movie was very disappointing to me. There is no way it should ever even be mentioned in a class of one of the best movies ever. The movie seemed to have a crappy ending that came really abruptly. Even with the legendary Will Smith,I think it was only an average film.

I absolutely loved the first 3/4 of the movie. It got pretty messed up when it introduced the "other survivors", and then the ending was just crap. They should have just stuck with the ending from the book IMO.

I didn't think it was the best movie of 2007, though. I liked 3:10 to Yuma better. Dragon Wars was also pretty... enjoyable (best comedy of 2007!).

I dont even call it I am legend, that would be like punching the books author in the face. I call it I am Will Smith instead, it does not deserve the honor of being I am legend.
