If I was going out with someone at the moment (which, thankfully, I'm not), I usually pay for the person who I am going out with and myself.
Although if they're one of those "insists they pay but they really want you to" type of girls, then I'll let them pay all they want. No skin off my back.Â
I believe it's common courtesy for the man to buy for the woman.sinistergogglesYeah but why if a couple really likes each other I think they shouldn't be leeching off of each other. I guess thats why I'm single atm.
If it's a date, as in I want to have an intimate relationship with said girl, then I'll pay for everything
If it's just going out then she'll pay for her stuff.Â

Edit: I guess I should also say that if I have a girlfriend, I'll pay always, too.Â
Who pays when it's two guys? o.O I need an answer quick!! :shock:lzorro

I would say whoever initiated the outing.Â

The one that leaves the table first... or was it the other way?
Lets put it this way, its rare indeed when a girl asks a guy to a movie, etc. End of story.MetaRidley42
I actually had a girl ask me to homecoming my sophmore year, which I acceptedÂ
Thats as far as it goes though, for when it comes to girls making the initiative. Â
My friend is a male dancer and he's dating a rich girl who pays for everything for him. He also tells me that girls offer to pay his way a lot.Â

Update your drivers. :P
 best laugh I've had all night!I will fight to pay, even if she insists on paying. Sometimes ill break down and let her pay for drinks and appetizersÂ
If you are going out on a "date" whoever asked for a date is the one that should pay. If you ask a girl out, YOU should pay.

Yes. You invite, you are the host. You get invited, you are the guest unless otherwise noted. (but it doesnt always work that way)

When you're trying to win a girl over, and ask her out to dinner and such, you pay for her. When you are together however, you would usually split the bill, unless you're feeling generous.
That's how I do it.Â

Yeah, I agree with you.
I'm still young so I don't really afford to pay for two so right now everyone pays for themselves

I have an uncle that runs a greasy curry house where I get to go for free. That's the way to go :P

Yeah, I agree with you.
yeah, you are totally right. i do the same thing.. Always!!!!!.....I usually pay since it's usually expected of the male to do so. But I feel whoever's idea it was for the date should really be the one payingdouble_decker
That's the problem with society. People do things that's expected of them, even if they don't want to. No one should have to pay for someone else. It's something that should be done only if you want to.Â
If I didn't want to pay for the date then I most likely wouldn't go in the first place though, especially a first date, because not paying for the first date is a way to not go anywhere at all with the girl. But I had an ex gf that wanted to go out all the time, it got way expensive so she had to start paying when it was her idea, and then I paid for anniversaries and just times I wanted to take her out for undefined reasons. That's the problem with society. I've done it all 3 ways, they all suck
Since most of the time I don't have alot of extra spending money, me paying for everything ends up not being to lavish. "I've got 20 buck do you want Mcdonalds or KFC?"
Splitting the bill often lacks intimacy. I can't really explain it but when I share the bill it never feels like a date.
I've also had women pay before, and I end up feeling like a manwhore.
Â
I miss living in Thailand where paying for dinner and drinks cost next to nothing. You could also literally "pay for dates" though I never did.
