Indeed. That was Gamespot's first year. 1996 is when I got my Playstation. Anybody remember the demo disk that came with it? It had some skateboarding game on it, Parappa the Rapper and like 1 or 2 more demos on it? Haha, good times.

the jampacks were the disks that came with the PlayStation Magazine. i have a few, i could probably find them if i looked hard enough :P i remember playing the s*** out of the Aggressive Inline demo. never played the full game though, just the demo.

lol I remember like 8 years ago before I started posting I used to watch On The Spot every week...I use archive.org to try and watch those old episodes with the old gang......my favorite episode being when Jeff and Ricardo were demoing the PSP in Japan.

Didn't even get online till '97. Gamefaqs was one of the first sites I went to at around that time. I started browsing GS around '01 or '02, but didn't really get into it seriously till years later. Those were the days.

I am a huuuuuuge WoT nerd... huge. I played the WoT FPS until my computer decided it was too new to let it run. Yeah, I was in on that starting just after they added clans.

omfg :D dat bengal tiger I was also a WoT nerd I ALWAYS WON THE TRIVIA THINGS BC I knew the books like the back of my hand and i was a fast typer... typist? ANYWAY you are the first person I've found that was on that ever. Other than my RL friends that I brought in.

I think I went by Elan_Morin252, and Lanfear515, but I'm not 100% on the number parts. Like you, when things started changing, and life didn't quite allow for it anymore, I left. I agree that it's cool, I mean, I've met plenty who like WoT, but none who did the original MUD. :)
