the trailer was halerious, the movie was ok, it was a bit boring at parts and some jokes just didnt work, but overall it was a good waste of time. the trailers for each actor at the begging of the movie were the best, alpha chino and booty sweat haha

This movie is absolutely hilarious. I've seen it twice now in theaters, and I've just recently come across the mockumentary online... which is basically just a way to see more of RDJ in character, and actually a lot more of Steve Coogan, whose role in the movie was too short, IMO. Go see it. :D
It has not been released yet in Sweden, so I haven't seen it yet. Gonna go watch it with my friends, because that is always awesome, in one way or another.
I enjoyed it. It started off great and slowly went downhill until the end, but it's still funnier than most comedies released in the past year. The deluge of "____ Movie"s probably helps.
out of all the summer comedies the only ones i have not seen are get smart and the love guru, now that said, tropic thunder was the funniest movie ive seen followed by step brothers, and the least funniest for me was pinneapple express, i hated that movie, probably because im not a pot head
Yea, I loved it. Everyone had their moments and for a second I almost believed Tom Cruise was sane and not Scientology. But not matter how awesome Cruise was in that movie - he remains insane.
I seen it with a bunch of friends and out of all of them, i was the only one who liked it. It was still disappointing, Jack Black only had one funny scene, he was a complete backround character which really sucked. The ones that made the movie were easily Robert Downy Jr. and Ben Stiller. Alot of the jokes were very cheap and the scenes out side from the jungle environment (like Corporation scenes) are really bad. And Tom Cruise played the most annoying character in the history of movies. Other than that it was funny.
