Who was the better explorer in film - Ford or Cage?

So OT, who do you think was the better of the two - Ford as Indiana Jones (Raiders of the Lost Ark), or Cage as Ben Gates (National Treasure)?

Or is there a different actor on your mind?

I think Ford did the best portrayal.

Is this even a question? National Treasure was a bad movie to begin with, and comparing it to Indiana Jones makes it look even worse.

Nicholas Cage is terrible imo. I voted for Ford.

This isn't even a comparison. Harrison Ford is a 100 times better actor than Cage and also the movies that Ford are in are on a whole different level compared to that of movies like National Treasure. Don't get me wrong though, National Treasure is a decent film and I did enjoy watching it but there's no comparing it to Indiana Jones.

if this surprises you, why would you even ask who is better. Unless you expected Cage to get more votes, which would be foolish. Not even comparable at all

I am offended that you even had to ask this question. Nicholas Cage is the worst type of terrible actor. It really is spectacular how bad he is at it. And it's never just enough for him to just be bad and ruin his part of the movie, he has to be so terrible at it that he ruins everything else as well.

If there really is a true 8th wonder of the world it is WHY on God's ****ing green Earth he keeps getting work. I already know the answer though. I'll give you a hint. Its because PEOPLE KEEP BUYING TICKETS.

If everyone would just be like me and boycott anything with his name on, in or around it he would calmly meander over into the shadows of easily ignorable network television ( on The WB because thats how bad he is ).

I disagree, he's been in some bad s*** before, but now and again he comes out in some really brilliant stuff. Lord of War for instance.

Nobody beats Harrison Ford in the explorer role though.
