I can't. But I'll be helping other people vote. :P Working the polls from 6-9. CalyptoSixty-Niiiiine! *Immature*
Anyway, in Australia voting is compulsory and it's not a big problem, nor does it take away any of my freedom.
What do Americans think of compulsory voting?
I had intended to, but it's beginning to look doubtful if I can. My polling center is 45 minutes away from where I go to school and even assuming I went out early in the morning to drive down I'd still have to be back up at college by 2:00 PM so I could get to lab at 2:30 (I'd already be skipping two other classes prior to that). Considering how long the lines can get it's more than possible that I simply won't have the time to vote tomorrow :( Seriously, our government really needs to follow other countries' leads and make election day a national holiday so people aren't disenfranchised by prior commitments. gameguy6700

Two problems with that:
1. It's too late to do that (thought I'd be able to vote Tuesday but didn't realize how filled up my schedule was)
2. Absentee ballots aren't actually counted. They only get counted in the event that the election is very close. So when you vote absentee you're really going through extra trouble to make your vote even more worthless than it already is.

Eh, it wouldnt be bad, actually I kinda like the idea, make sure everyone gets their say, wether they like it or not :P. But I'm sure there will be some people pissed off like always.
Even if I was eligible for voting (I'm not American and I'm underage anyway) I've decided that if I had the power to vote, I wouldn't do so because I don't know enough about each candidate.aliblabla2007
Well at least you're honest. There are so many people who ARE voting that are completely oblivious to either side's actual views. I think people should educate themselves before just throwing their vote at one person or the other.
