Well Thor is a god, so...If we're going by comic logic, it can go either way. If it were "real", I don't see how Thor wouldn't destroy the Hulk.

I'm not too knowledgable on Hulk, but isn't he practically invincible, depending on how angry he is?

Hell, I remember buying the first appearance of the Punisher (Amazing Spider-Man #129) and Wolverine (an incredible Hulk issue, 180-something maybe?). Didn't think much of either at the time.

Anyhow, I remember this cover.

I think it was part of an Avengers vs Defenders clash, I seem to recall Loki was behind it partially, big surprise.

Didn't Hulk once beat Silver Surfer to within an inch of his life?  Yeah, I'm thinking Hulk could beat anyone one-on-one short of Galactus.

I believe in multiple comics he's beaten thor to a pulp, In thor vs the hulk cartoon released a few years ago[spoiler] the hulk kills thor when Loki loses control of the hulk but the enchantress heals thor out of guilt for helping loki to remove Bruce Banners soul from the hulk so loki could control the hulk. I am not well versed on comic book lore, but doesnt Hulk get stronger the harder you fight against him? So the tougher the foe, the stronger hulk gets?  

And since Hulk is already incredibly powerful to start with, wouldn't that mean no one could really beat him?

I am sure there are ways to trick and incapacitate him, but to outright beat him in a match? Methinx not.  Anyway, I love the guy, my favorite out of all the characters out there.

Iron Man in fact was able to defeat him outright at one point by focusing all the energy in his armor, including life support, into a fist and punching him in the head with it. (this was eon years ago, 70's I believe)

More recently he went up against Zeus in the comics and was decimated.

The Void, who is essentially The Sentry, fought him in the Negative Zone and hit him so hard that he broke every bone in the Hulk's body, all at once. When you start getting into the top tiers of power around guys like Thor, Hulk, Black Bolt, and The Sentry, things get a little less clear cut in terms of who is the strongest.

Neither. They are both invincible to one-another's attacks.

Hulk vs Thor would be a pretty good fight to see, although Hulk would be the victor.

Now if it was Hulk vs Phoenix, Phoenix would completely obliterate the Hulk, she's too op.
