Friends. I didn't choose my family. I don't dislike my parents or siblings, but I don't view them as more than really good friends. I have a lot of relatives I simply can't stand and the fact I'm forced to be around them a couple times a year is a travesty.

They should unless they are crazy and treat you like crap. Honestly I have had friends who have stuck by me better than most of my immediate family. It all just depends.
Family always, when **** hits the fan they're the only ones that you can count on to stand at your side. Most of your "friends" will show their true colour then too.
