Who's in the mood for a MUSIC DEBATE?!

I try to listen to all the music my mind will accept as "Good". I have tried to like many genres. My favorite is Classical Music

This is my favorite song. I recommend waiting until 01:52.

Agustin Barrios Mangore is one of, if not THE greatest guitarist of all time, and the greatest composer of the 21st century.
His compositions take a virtuosity that is extremely difficult to achieve.

Vals No.3(Probably his easiest composition. Although not difficult, I still love the sound)

As for other genres. Rock is probably my second favorite. Although lately I haven't listened to it.

I pretty much like all other genres (Jazz,Blues,Folk,etc.)

Rap and Hip Hop aren't bad. I only really enjoy 1 or 2 hip hop songs. Other than that, I do not find it appealing.

I have no interest in Metal. System Of A Down, Metallica, Opeth, and others just do not please me in the least

I hate Yngwie Malmsteen.

You have different music tastes. Everyone does.

thats no way to start a debate. on gamespot you have to flame some band and say that another band is far superior to others.

I'm with you on the Yngwie Malmsteen, as far as metal goes there are better bands (as far as how technical they are) than the ones you've mentioned.

IE: Spawn of Possession, and a few otherss.

Also, classical music is great :)

On a serious note, I despise Yngwie Malmsteen just as much as you do. It amazes me how little credit Mark Knopfler and clas-sical guitarists like you posted get. Btw, I am probably very far off, but I think I've seen a video of that guitarist. Did he happen to be a student of Segovia?
