I'm in a really good mood today. I would love to hear stories about the first time people said "I love you" to their partners. Were you first? Did you wait until they said it? Was it uncomfortable? Oh, love is so AWESOME! I told my boyfriend that I loved him a few months ago and he never said it back until this morning it was so subtle that I didn't even catch it but he had this huge smile on his face. *sigh!!!**** Let's hear some love stories!

Yes my hand and I have a very close relationship.

I don't think any of my topcis are similar other than the fact that I mention the person that I'm best friends with, in love with, spend the most time with. I don't think it's odd that most of my life revolves around him. :P

And well, yes, it was a bit awkward. We were watching a movie at her house, and we were past that point where both know that the feeling is mutual, but we were too chicken to just spit it out. I couldn't muster enough courage to hold her close to me while watching the movie... Once the credits rolled, as she was getting up to close the TV, I took her hand and said I had something to tell her.

She smiled, blushed and said "I know :) "

And there you have it, you can guess the end of the story. Pathetic :P

I haven't said it yet. I don't know it's one of those things that I know if I say it the breakup will be that much worse.

well I dont have a current partner, but the former when she said it, I kinda panicked and was unsure what to say because I was sure as hell not saying it back.

I ended up using the smooth " I have feelings for you, that I have for no one else" or something along those lines.

Then I got the hell out of there about 5-10 mins later

I'm not gay but I sometimes say it to my male cousin (I'm male too) on Xbox Live just to creep people out. Also with my friend Charlie. It's so funny.:P

Yes, though I keep it far and few in between. Too much you appear needy, not enough you get accuse of not loving the partner (actually that's not a bad thing at all, it just shows she crave for your attention and reassurance)

Instead of saying it, show it. Sometimes it works better that way
