I feel like the Chargers are the best team right now, you can't go by their record, they are a completely different team then they were at the start of the season, who do you guys think is the best?

It's really hard to say this year. No one team has really established themselves as dominant.

The Seahawks, of course. All other teams suck.

This. No team sticks out as a best team. Many teams have been very good but nobody has stood out as the best.

That will tell us IMO...at least for right now. The ravens and chargers are also up there if they play right. I am not sold on any NFC team

Dallas beat the Saints (if not for a Roy Williams fumble at the end). I am not buying the saints. I would take the Packers over them or even the Eagles

Dallas plays well in spurts though.....and the saints can put up points......contain vick and he's nothing....the packers jsut don;t have a run game....they beat the jets but it was the weirdest game I've ever seen.....penalties....bad play calling.....I'd still put the saints in front of all of them....

The Saints can't run either though. I think the eagles upside is the best (from those NFC teams), but the also have the lowest bottom (if that makes sense).

Either the Jets or Patriots. The Falcons are good as well, but I don't think they could beat either AFC team. Next Monday will really determine who is the best. The Jets have the better team all around, but I still think the Patriots will win, because I think that with them more then any team, it doesn't matter what the stats say and how good the other team may be, if they play at their best then they are unstoppable, and they have been playing that way the past few weeks. Going to be a great game.

its definitely not the chargers. every year they are bad in the beginning of the season and the playoffs. they usually have a run towards the end of the regular season, but they choke in the playoffs. i dont count what they are doing right now as anything but usual. anyway, the jets/pats game will decide it.

The Saints have won four games in a row and they have been playing hurt all season. Also, many of the players who just started to come back are definitely not at 100% . So once they are healthy, I think the Saints are going to be a strong contender for a repeat.

to be fair there was a block in the back that didn't get called that caused Dallas to get the ball when they shouldn't have.

Pats are the best team bar none. They've proven time and time again that they have what it takes to be a championship caliber team. Belicheck can develop players like no other coach in the league. They have enough veterens that you know they have the mental toughness. And well you know...Tom Brady. Say what you will about those 2 guys, but there's no doubt in my mind that the Pats will be a force to be reckoned with as long as Brady is QB in New England. I'd say the only teams that can compete are the Jets (cuz Rex's D) and Atlanta because their almost unbeatable at home. And at this rate, they'll have home field advantage thro most of the playoffs.

As of right now its the Falcons. Matt Ryan has been superb this year. However there is still a lot of football left to be played so a lot can still change.

  • Colts
  • Chargers
  • Steelers
  • Ravens

I'm a Falcons fan, but they let games stay close way too late in the fourth quarter. They've really only had one win that didn't come down to the final 15 minutes or so

I don't see how they dominated the Packers. The Pack took more yards and gave up fewer than Atlanta.
That turnover and two calls that should have been challenged are essentially what led to the final score. If the Pack had a better running game, they would truly be a force to be reckoned with.
But they don't, and this is where they are going to run into trouble against better D.

As far as the Jets are concerned, I don't think they are as good as folks give them credit for.

The pats, however, seem to be the real deal.... again.

the chargers are garbage.they do this every year. start off bad, go on a big run to end the season and implode in the playoffs. im hearing things like rivers is the best qb in the league and all this other stuff and its just ridiculous. right now its probably the jets or steelers. they win close games and have tough defenses

Really, this season hasn't had many obvious great teams stand out, but IMO, I really like the Lions, all they need is a better offense and they could make it to the superbowl.
