WOW... can you reccomend me anything else like that?? I've always hated rap, but that stuff is really good!!
None of them are clever.
They're rappers. Enough said.
But I do recognize that impromptu rapping and rap battles do require an active and creative brain, so whoever is the best at those is the "cleverest," I would suppose.

I know right. ;) Big Daddy Kane is what got me into Hip-Hop because he was justa really good MC. Made me pay attention to lyrics instead of letting them fly over my head.
I've got a tonne of recommnedations for you man.
Check early De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest
De La Soul - Breakadawn1993
A Tribe Called Quest - Butter1991
They're like jazzy/alternative Hip-Hop.
If you want super lyrical MCs like Big Daddy Kane check Kool G Rap and Rakim.
Kool G Rap & DJ Polo - Men at Work1989
Eric B. & Rakim - Microphone Fiend1988
There's good Hip-Hop out there but no-one's gonna put it in front of you (except me). If you want more recommnedations PM me. ;)

MF Doom most definitely. But, pure linguistic genius is Illogic, forget rapping he should go for the poet laureate.
Without a doubt he has the best punch lines and funniest rhymes.[QUOTE="bradleybhoy"]Big Daddy Kane!!!!!!!! No one raps about how good they rap better than Big Daddy Kane. He's one of my favourite rappers, he's in my av.
