Didn't he sue some lowly DJ for sampling his music? I mean if you're making millions of dollars and some guy is getting your music out there to the fans and putting his own twist on it, I say let them be. I lost a lot of respect for him after that.
I actually am a huge fan of Lil Wayne. Most people just listen to Lollipop and Hot Revolver and leave it at that. He hasn't made anything good recently, but his mixtapes that most people don't hear really are amazing. Dedication 2 and Da Drought 3 is what really got me into Lil Wayne.
people like him because hes got a unique voice. But lil wayne is so overrated. yeah, hes got some good music but hes given way to much credit than he deserves.
saying he is better then Solider Boy isn't saying very much because they both suck... The only song I ever liked that he was in was when he featured in Jay Sean's "Down"

I will say that when he takes his rap seriously, he can be quite good. However, he panders too much to the mainstream audience. I.E. simplistic lyrics, auto-tune... singing... *sigh* :roll:
I don't like him because he raps. I can't stand rap music. The only rap I listen to is Weird Al, and I don't even listen to HIM very often. Maybe once or twice a YEAR.

I agree. He's alot better in mixtapes. Still kinda hit and miss though.
The only Lil Wayne music people hear is the "popular" stuff, ie. the stuff of his which is on TV or radio... so I don't know. Most of his best stuff isn't popular. Oh and linking to one or two bad songs by Lil Wayne doesn't prove anything.
Because he's got much less talent than Famous, Classified, or Lethal B, yet lil wayne very well known and fairly loaded whilst the former aren't.Setsa
I do understand if people hate for that :P but Lil Wayne was signed when he was 11 years old, released first album when he was 14, he's been around a long time and he deserves the fame.
