Why are people hating on us Republicans?

I don't hate Republicans. I dislike politicians who claim to be for smaller government, but you try to legislate the opposite. I dislike politicians who take away rights instead of protecting them. These days, Republican politicians are the worst offenders of such things. This has very little to do with many more sane Republicans in the general public.

While I realize this is probably a joke thread people tend to be more against "Limbaugh" conservatives(those who REFUSE to vote outside party line) along with family values conservatives for their lack of open minds

I hate on Republicans and Democrats equally, they are both full of sh!t. OT however hates Republicans and conservatives alot because the majority of it's members here are super liberals and hardcore atheists, though they don't realise that there are atheist Republicans and religious Democrats.

Though that being said OT does have it's fair share of conservative posters (I am one of the more known conservative posters but not an extreame one) here and most of them know how to give good arguments. It does feel a little one sided though around here sometimes.

Those are a minority of Christians, I could find plenty of offenseive people in the liberal Democrat camp as well, there are some pretty nasty OWS people out there.

However a person who is well educated knows that they don't represent the majority.
