Everyone enjoys a show that makes fun of a bunch of show.. For Shrek, they are making fun of a bunch of FairyTales...
But Mike Myers is pretty cool, so u gotta love the movies =P
I am going to meet my friend in CT on Saturday to see the third Shrek movie. I really enjoy the subtle pop-culture references in these types of movies that go over younger children's heads and a lot of the kiddy humor and other sight gags.videogamer456You mean like Lord F***quad?
If anyone cares, I came across a review for this film. Don't worry, it's spoiler free.

The first one was okay, the second...meh. From the trailer, it  just seemed like the same thing recycled from the first two films.

because it appeals to all ages (old, young, men, women, kids, teens, etc.)
I personally don't get them.Â
I think the movie is very average for an animated film, and don't really like it that much. Why are so many people into it? It used to be my cousin's favorite movie!PitaGriffinSame thought has been going in my head as well.. I watched the first two and didn't laugh often at all... but I do like Pinocchio in the third trailer, where he was evading to answer the question where Shrek was. Priceless!
Like the Simpsons, it appeals to people of all ages, classes, colours and learning abilities.Jowell91Once again, the Simpsons, I find "freaky". I don't know if it's the way they're drawn, but I just find the show "weird". Same thing with Beavis and Butthead - very weird and freaky. I think it's because I played the Simpsons SNES game when I was like 3 or 4, but there's something about it... It's not that funny either. The few times I sit around with other people and watch the Simpsons, nobody is really laughing out loud for the whole episode. I've also never understood why people like Futurama. I mean, some quick jokes in that show are funny, but once again, not THAT funny. Obviously, everyone has their preference for entertainment, but some things just puzzle me as to WHY they like it.
[QUOTE="AngelB1ack"]SHRek Owns Fred Flintstone!!!!!!!!double_deckerHw much did he pay for him?:o
*shocked* wow :| *shock over*
anyways,I really enjoyed the humor of the first one, donkey was funny trying to run away from a dragon that was falling in love with him.The 2nd one was alright, a little bizarre for my tastes but i think its a lot more entertaining to watch Shrek try and slay a dragon than to get along with his wife's father.Â
I love the gingerbread man interrogation of the first one. Do you know the muffin man?guynamedbilly
Who lives on Drury Lane?Â
Maybe people like onions. 0_o
I personally like Donkey the best. Eddie Murphy does an excellent job! ^_^Â

Some people just don't appreciate the comedic value of pies in the face and fart jokes.Â
