Because there are facts on the internet......LOL, joking
Its because they're younger than the average population, they tend to be more liberal.
Online, liberals are much more vocal about their opinions.

I disagree, I've seen conservatives being just as vocal. Again, it goes back to the forum at hand.Online, liberals are much more vocal about their opinions.

Some people find it easier to project their real beliefs through anonymity rather than IRL encounters I think it just also depends on the forumJust-Breathe
It does greatly depend on the forum. It also depends on the day. In poll threads here, sometimes conservative wins out, and in others, it's so liberal it would make Michael Moore uncomfortable.
I disagree, I've seen conservatives being just as vocal. Again, it goes back to the forum at hand.I'm talking about more liberals being vocal. Not that conservatives can't be as vocal...and I'm not saying it's a bad thing either.[QUOTE="Pirate700"]

Internet consists mainly of younger people. Younger people are usually more liberally. Ergo, the internet is mostly liberal.imaps3fanboyThank goodness.

It has nothing to do with baby boomers. Younger people from every generation tend to be liberal...Thank goodness.[QUOTE="Aljosa23"]

It all depends on where you look. If you are reading political articles, you see a lot of conservative trolls.
Why do you people insist on calling left wingers liberal?? Government intervention and regulations is the opposite of liberal.

I don't wannaLeft wingers are usually socially liberal but not fiscally liberal. In the US they call them libs because lots of them are also fiscally liberal, although the US has no proper left wing political ideology. All they have is shades of right IMO.Why do you people insist on calling left wingers liberal?? Government intervention and regulations is the opposite of liberal.

I did not know socialism was a direct opposite to liberalism.

Well now you knowYes, the liberal term does not mean the way we use it here in the U.S. to define the Democratic Party, but it has become the defacto term to define it.Why do you people insist on calling left wingers liberal?? Government intervention and regulations is the opposite of liberal.
