The United States runs on votes and majority rules systems. So, why proclaim this vote in California false and illegal (something about it being a Supreme Ct decision, and thus subject only to the judicial system's courts) after the votes have been counted? To legitamize their claim, the homosexuals would have had to protest BEFORE the vote even took place. Because they are protesting after the vote, they are basically throwing a hissy fit. IF you thought the public's voting on such an issue was illegal, why didn't you protest before the vote took place? Seriously, are these protesters little children or what?

They're protesting because they're being denied certain rights.... That's a pretty good reason to protest, I would say.

That's like asking why people protested segregation even though THAT was legal. These people are being denied a fundamental right and that makes the protests justifiable.

Seconded. The first couple were understandable but this is like the sixth thread on it I've seen in the past two days.
