A 29 year old man was shot by the London Police, Supposedly he opened fire upon them though those that riot believe he is innocent and thus a inital peaceful demonstration turned into a violent riot. Most likely due to some instigators.

I heard some interviewers asking some of the protesters questions and honestly I didn't think some of them had any idea why they were there. I heard 2 girls say something about the corporations and the rich people and they deserved that too.

That's probably the real reason they are rioting, but of course USA media would have you believe something else.
They were jealous that Vancouver had a riot for petty reasons and wanted in on the fun.Ace6301
You should have seen Seth Myers on the Espy awards. He mentioned the Vancouver riots but made fun of how pleasant the Canadians were. "We're going to have a riot at 4pm and then come back for clean up around 7".

That's probably the real reason they are rioting, but of course USA media would have you believe something else. actually I heard the interview on US media. In fact the first time I've heard anything about a shooting by police is on this site.
