Nah...They just think where like this because where always so close to computers, consoles, and the lke. Anyway, don't take it too seriously, let them think what they want to think. Get pissed......sorry can't advice you on that one (I don't really feel insulted when I'm called geek. So what if I am?)
i consider myself to be a cool geek, if thats even possible, because the stereotypical geek doesn't like playing sports..i play baseball and hockey so...im a geek only because i play video games..thats about it

I'm a geek, nerd, whatever...and you know what, if you have to worry about this everyday, you should really find something else to do with your free time.
*sarcastic* Because we know all about video games, we loved to talk about everything in video games (characters, items, story, etc.), and finally we absolutely loooooooooooooooooove to play card games (magic card games). *sarcastic* :D
