I'm glad to say I'm NOT overweight. I gain a few pounds and then catch myself before it becomes a problem. When I see the scale going up too much, I do the common sense thing. Watch what I eat a bit closer and get a little more excercise in.Well, I'd say that depends entirely on how much each of those stones weigh.I'm 5'5 and weigh 8 stone. So I'm borderline underweight.

It's a survival tactic. When you're lost in the desert with no food to be found, how does your body sustain itself? By moving to the fat stored in your ass. What happens if you have no fat? You die. Then your corpse gets eaten by your fatter (and therefore smarter) companions.

Some of us can afford to pay a poor immigrant to post on our behalf while we're at the gym.inb4 over 9000 replies about how everyone on Gamespot is 6'2" 175lbs, works out everyday, while at the same time maintains a post count in the several thousands.

a combination of large size, bone structure, muscle mass, generally sedentary life, and a devious eating disorder.
My ideal weight is around 280 lb, I have about 120 to lose right now :(
Around 5'5 or 5'6 and I weigh around 120 now, I'm far from overweight.
I use to weigh 265 pounds a year or two ago, though.
Who says I'm overweight?Wilfred_OwenMe. What you gonna do about it? Cry into my 60 galloon drum of Haagen-Dasz :(
Sounds like something a fat man would say.
:P
This topic makes a lot of sense

Don't you use the metric system?Well for all of you who are overweight let me give you a quick tip. Back in my day my weight was 280 lb. I wanted to change but I knew it would be hard to change from one day to another. One thing that helps a lot and I mean A LOT is drinking water. Drink around 3Lts a day and you'll see some results. I went from 280 to 266 just by drinking water that got me motivated to go to the gym
Right now I'm 1.85m tall and I weight around 200-197 poundsand I look ok, I go to the gym 3-4 times a week. Due to my height I can't really lose more because I would look like I have some kind of disease. Anyways just drink water, doesn't matter if you have to stay all day in OT posting the first few pounds the ones that are easy to lose are just made of water. Drinking it will help you get rid of those and you'll see results.

It'd be easier if you were overweight. The more mass you have, the more inertia you have. Once you get up to speed, inertia kicks in and you'll be able to glide through the race with little effort.

Plus, I would have all that extra energy stored up on me.

I drink too much beer, smoke too many cigarettes, eat too much fast food, and sit on my ass too much. After busting my ass and losing 90 pounds last year, I didn't feel much better about myself, and got less "action" than I did as an overweight individual. Sure I physically felt better, but emotionally, I did not. I'm comfortable at the weight I am even though it is probably 60 lbs too much.BrianB0422Heart attack at 40, careful

I don't see why it's any of your business how much I weigh or whether or not I go the gym.I don't give a rip how much you weigh or whether or not you go to the gym. Even if I cared about my weight, I wouldn't start going to the gym, I'd just eat less.Topic^
