Well I guess its up to me then *sighs* Ok, well in the Catholic religion you are supposed to give up meat on Fridays during Lent because it is a sacrifice we offer up to Jesus who sacrificed his life to us. It was decided by the pope that meat was a good sacrifice and usually the easiest to sacrifice. Its a sort of a pennance as well. If you for medical reasons or what not cant sacrifice the meat, then you can substitute meat for something else, like candy, pop, sex ...(lol) , video games (o noez!), tv....well you sorta get the point (i hope).I thought you couldn't eat meat on ANY friday during lent
