Am I an idiot? I thought I had a very good reason, but now I'm not so sure.

How in the hell should we know?
I don't know. I just thought people would take any excuse to call someone else an idiot.
I quit my other sh*tty job, but I had another gread, cool bosses, good paying job start the next day.. I would quit anyway if I could afford it regardless.

You told us nothing about your situation, so nobody would even be able to pass judgement. However, you started a thread just to see if someone would call you an idiot; now THAT on the other makes you an idiot.
because you wanted to. never regret any decision you make because all the decisions you make are the right decision. youre looking for something else better and you will find it if you really want it.
Lol no. They're countless cases of bad decision making.

i'm going to assume he quit his job so he can devote his life to playing duke nukem. if that is the case then, yes, you made a bad decision.
I got fired from the Home Depot because a mixture of back problems, having to be on light duty because it was a work related injury, not being to help certain customers with really heavy lumber, tools, etc, being yelled at by customers for telling them I was on light duty and that my back couldn't take it (Managements fault for putting me in the same position after their doctor put in bold print and on paper that I couldn't lift over 60) and because I decided to take a half hour break immediately after clocking in from lunch lol. Best decision ever because my back made a full recovery after they fired me. Really thankful they fired me and didn't give me a warning even though I'm still looking for a job 4 months later.
I thought the terrible OP was the bad part of this thread, but then I read this:

Please no one take this seriously.

Well... At least you had a good reason. Maybe I should call them up and beg for my job back....
