Why did they turn spongebob into a kids show wtf.........

when it first came out the graphics sucked but then they upgraded the graphics and they had sweat episodes like the one where krabs thinks he killed the health inspector... chocolate one... and those others ones where they actually came up with SMART funny stuff like the older simpsons did. Now if you watch it they tuned bobs pitch to some gay high pitched voice, and they do stupid stuff and they cant even squeeze 1 damn ass laugh out of me.

remember in the health inspector one.. *inside cop car* now spongebob when we get back to the krusty krab I want you to put the "shovel" into the freezer. - ok mr.krabs but what do you want me to do with the bo- (krabs grabs his mouth) BOTTLES OF SODA!!!! i want you to put them into the refriderator. LMAO!!!!!

Er...not entirely sure if you're being serious about the jab at stoners, but what he's saying is that in earlier seasons the show could be enjoyed by an older audience. It even had some subtle adult references at times, like that one episode where gary walks in on spongebob "looking at porn." Now, the show is just plain childish and lacks its original humor.

Yeah, ever since the movie cameout it went downhill. I remember around 02 Spongebob was freaking awesome with episodes like the band geek and chocolate ones. I was a HS student at the time, and I wasn't embarrassed at all that I watched it. Hell, I'll laugh at the old episodes even now and feel no embarrassment whatsoever.

Although I don't watch it anymore, I have to agree the older spongebob episodes were way funnier then the older episodes. The older episodes has a lot of smart jokes you would maybe find in more mature cartoons.
