When I was 13 or 14 I was a big fan of Digimon, and Gabumon was my favorite character from that show. I've since stopped watching it, but the name suck, so I dropped the "mon" to distance it from its origins.
As for the "Ex", "Gabu" was taken on GameSpot and I hate adding numbers at the end of my name, so I added "Ex" instead since I thought it sounded cool. It has no significance beyond that. :P

Omg Gabumon was my favorite Digimon too, whenever I saw your name it reminded me of it. I watched all the seasons on youtube and I was so sad season 2 was over then they went to dumb stuff.
I chose my username because I guess of was thinking of king of the hill and I find it when he says gotdangit it bill or bobby it's funny.
I got my name from a Tom Clancy book. It was the name of a Japanese ship and it meant "black tide" and i thought that was kinda cool so ive used it in alot of games. It ticks me off though when it is already taken by someone else (i want to know who!! lol).
I used to Ballroom dance a lot and then I went into teaching dance for a little bit which is why I chose my username. Even though I don't do it that much anymore, I still like my username.
Because it suited my mood. Also at the time I made it I had no idea that the word "teenaged" exists. I just thought of using the word "teenage" and adding a "d" to give it a special more fitting meaning. Yeah I thought I was improvising a past participle form but nah it already existed... :'(
I also dont like numbers and I like to start with a capital.
