The biggest load of rubbish is Terminator 2. The T1000 is liquid metal, whatever goes back in time has to be encased in flesh, the T1000 might look like flesh but metal, liquid or not is not flesh. What they should have created is a cacoon of flesh, like a placenta that they could have placed terminators, weapons, all sorts of things in one shot.
then te movie won't becalled terminator...it'd be called terminators .....and short nicker (that's wht i call srnold schwarzeneggar) won't be the main robot!!
I think there was Arnold's character sent through... and then John Connor followed him while his companions destroyed the time travel device before others could be sent through. I saw the first Terminator again a few months ago. That is what I remember him saying.

no no no no no! this is the kinda stuff that hurts your brain. This is just like back to the future. You start thinking about the different things that could happen in time travel and then time paradoxes and before you know it simple tasks like going to the bathroom are no longer easy.

No. Theyre trying to make T4 but need Arnie for it. Since we already know what's going to happen in the machine wars, it isnt needed.

It's not that. It's just this country doesn't need another sucky Terminator movie.
Skynet still needed the timeline to progress in a very similar way so its existence and dominance would still be assured. Thats why destroying a city/ sending 100 terminators/ etc would not be a good idea because it would be too much of a departure from the existing timeline. Skynet needed just a very specific change (ie death of sarah connor) and leaving everything else the way it is so skynet would rule the future.

As far as I can remember, it's because the time device just allowed one T1000 to be sent through the "portal" before it collapsed. You have to keep in mind that it is virtually impossible to produce T1000's like they would just be a set of machines on a conveyor belt while Skynet is nothing more then a commander program that has tools to conquer and overwrite all other programs and access all sorts of firewalls. It's basically nothing more then a program, which controls the rest.
