Everything you just described is only a part of Hentai, and that's a pretty small sub-genre of anime in general. Most of that stuff isn't very prevalent in most anime series.

You're talking about a sub-genre of anime that isn't even all that big to begin with, so it's not like all anime is like this. And for the fetishes, that's pretty much the whole point. You could say the same thing about the gory aspects of the horror genre. Why do the creators take it too far in that area? Same reason, because that's the whole point, and it's part of the appeal to certain people.

First off, Hentai is a genre of porn (can i use that word on gs?) Which just happens to be animated in an anime art style. Hentai is actually japenese for pervert. It has absolutly nothing to do with a hen, or some guy named tai. The tenticle part is....well imagine a squid with many more tentacles, that doesnt actually look like a squid at all, having sex...but using the tenticles instead of what guys have. (dont think i can say that on gs).
