Why Do Cats Love Boxes?

It's common knowledge that cats love to sleep in cardboard boxes.

Why is that?

I dunno. Maybe they like being confined - makes them feel snug and secure or something.

I find it annoying. Whenever I'm doing something that involves a box or a bag, my cat has to jump inside. Usually when I'm filling or emptying it.

Cats just love the enclosed spaces. It's comfy to them.

I currently have 5 1 month old kittens and let me tell you, seeing them all snuggled up together in a small cardboard box is about the cutest thing i've ever seen.Big_player
