Because Europeans invented and practically own automotive transport..therefore we're right. Always.Total-KO
very very true
Because Europeans invented and practically own automotive transport..therefore we're right. Always.Total-KORight because it wasn't Henry Ford that rolled out with the first automobile, no it was some guy from across the pond. Oh and American cars do have gas tanks on both sides. And the reason we have different exhausts is that we have different pollution controls. So typically our engines are different than yours so we require different exhaust as well.

A Flemish priest, Ferdinand Verbiest, demonstrated in 1678 a small steam car. The car was made for the Chinese emperor. Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot successfully demonstrated such a vehicle on a real scale as early as 1769. Cugnot's invention initially saw little application in his native France, and the center of innovation passed to Great Britain, where Richard Trevithick was running a steam-carriage in 1801. Such vehicles were in vogue for a time, and over the next decades such innovations as hand brakes, multi-speed transmissions, and improved speed and steering were developed

Exactly, I can't belive that the yanks actually think they invented the car.....it's sad

they didn't invent it.. they just invented how to build it cheaply and efficiently.because thats where the driver's side iscomp_atkinsDrivers side is on the left though :? The brits are on the right

they didn't invent it.. they just invented how to build it cheaply and efficiently. No, the japanese did. Notice how Japanese car are cheaper and way more durable that US cars. Oh and the use less petrol too, so they're more effecient.[QUOTE="comp_atkins"][QUOTE="jointed"]Right because it wasn't Henry Ford that rolled out with the first automobile, no it was some guy from across the pond.
