that isn't too bad at all. I start earlier and get out of school around the first week of june as well, depends on how many exams you get. Besides, my games and friends games are still getting sort of old. School isn't all bad.
I start on the 3rd and end when... I don't know, up here in NE we usually get gratuitous snow days and the occasional rain day (curse you flooding! :x) so we probably won't be out until the last week of June again.
Depends what state you're from.. each state has different set of laws regarding how long a school year should be and how much time you should spend in school. I've never started school so late in the year at Sept 14.. usuasly end of aug, or first week of sept. Also since like 4th grade we never got released from school before 3:20.
lets see I start my first semester on Sept. 9th, and I get out mid may, none of my classes first semester go past 11:30 A.M, I have 2 classes m,w,f and 2 on Tu, th.
That sounds normal to me. I move to grad school Sunday and start Thursday, August 20th. This Fall semester ends a week into December. My Spring semester starts January 28th and ends in the last part of May.
You're lucky I guess. In high school I had days that were from 8 AM (sometimes 7 if I had my period one music class) to 3:45 PM every day, school started around August 23rd-25th every year, and got out on May 27-29th every year. We didn't have a spring break, our winter break was pitiful, we hardly had days off, and we RARELY got snow days. The university I'm going to starts in late August and gets out in early to mid-May, so that should be nice. :D
Is that supposed to be long? :? This year, I start on August 26th and end June 4. Here, it always starts the last Wednesday of August and ends the first Friday of June.
Since I'm going to be studying in Italy this year and school is starting later I got a huge summer vacation. I got out on April 30 and I start Sept. 16.
