Why do people attempt to mimick the Asian language?

Because there unlike other languages and sound very different, Spanish and other European languages sound like English, Eastern languages not so much

ok let me be more specific. my Mother and I speak the Chin dialect, originating from the Chin state in Burma (Myanmar), My mother is from Falam, a rather large village in the Chin State.

ahh, well, i cant really add anything that hasn't already been said. People, younger ones especially, find anything different amusing and even threatening, sometimes. Ours is not a culture well versed in humility or respect, unfortunately. So you'll have to ignore it, but it should help if you surround yourself with more mature people. Just don't let it get you down.

You should've made fun of their "gangstah" language too. Look at it this way, as far as languages are concerned you're better than them since you can speak something besides English. :D

I usually do it when I'm mimicking an asian friend of mine to add effect to a joke I'm trying to make, but I end up failing and I stop before I look like a bigger ass. Epic_Hero7
