I hear so much talk by people that drink or use drugs trying to out do each other with stories about how crazy their night was. Some brag about how much they did and how wasted they were. What makes that so cool.
Its a way to express to others that you can be a party animal. It gives people a differnt impression. Some may think your dumb for doing grugs and some may think your cool and fun to party with.
I don't brag about it, I don't do any illegal drugs anymore anyways, although I used to when I was younger. I understand the appeal to do them, but not the desire to brag about them because IMO it's no big deal
A lot of people enjoy bragging about things. The more dangerous it is (in this case the illegality of it, in most cases) the more prestige they can gain among their peers, thus letting them "climb" the "cool ladder."
Because it takes an extraordinary mental capacity to do large amounts of hallucinogens. Everything else is just because they think they're being badass. While everyone else at the party outside that person's reality is trying to avoid them as much as possible because they're throwing up on things and people.

It is most likely because they are still on them or it is still in their system when braging. Drugs takes months to completely be out of your system and for your mind and body to come back to the normal reality.
Yeah, it's popular to tell stories about "how drunk I was last weekend" or "I don't remember how they carried me home." I agree that it doesn't make cool anyone, but sometimes it's funny to share these stories with your friends, isn't it? :)
Most of the time they are funny stories. :PÂ I don't think it's trying to be cool as much as it is trying to be funny and compare who made a bigger ass outta themselves.

Here is my take on it, Drinking is alright, I see nothing really wrong, unless you are a angry drunk, or just a complete dumbass. But drugs, it is for dumbasses

Drinking and drugs aren't really that different, both are addictive and It's just different ways of ****ing up your mind.
