I think it's because of how stupid the song is. I've noticed no one actually says "it's the best song ever" and actually mean it. I think they just find it fun to sing because it takes no talent to do, and it gets them laughs and attention when they do it in the hallways in school.
No one likes Soulja Boy anymore, it's overplayed and annoying. When it was new it was a simple stupid rap song u could go crazy to, then it was played thousands of time. If you like still that song, ur more than a few months late.
