[QUOTE="Dman0017"]to keep it cold?Natural_Geniusunless you plan on sitting with that same cup for the next 2 hours, then using ice to keep it cold wont really matter. And besides, by the time any noticable changes in temp come around, you will already have finished your meal, unless it takes you 2 hours to eat, but by that time, your ice would have melted anyway. Seriously try it next time you go out to eat, and then come back and tell me I am right. This is called thinking outside the box. Challenge the norms, don't just be a zombie and do everything everyone else does without thinking why you do it. When I eat at fast food, etc, I usually finished my meal and then bring the drink with me. So, if there's no ice, sometimes by the time I finish the drink, it's lukewarm. Most times when I'm drinking it in the restaurant, I don't use ice; I just put ice in when I get by refill before leaving.
I dont usually put ice in my drinks. I drink it before its warm.
And I always ask for no ice when I go to fast food places. I went to wendys a while ago, they gave me like a cup full of ice!! Why use soo much...yeah I know, they wanna save money....
Cold as in straight from the fridge isn't nearly as cold as when it has ice. I like my drinks to be very cold.

Same here. :)
'I use a refridgerator Ice machine, no bacteria to worry about, besides, I've been using Ice cubes prior to that for a couple of decades and haven't had a problem.I don't typicaly use ice.. it holds bacteria on it and theres really no reason to use it.
