Why do people put their kids as their facebook profile pic?

Almost everybody that has a kid does it. Positives is it seperates the girls who have kids and the ones who dont.

Probably because they are ugly and are proud of good thier kids look compared to them.

People for some reason always want to show other people pictures of their kids. They don't seem to realize no one really cares except them.

What if they're not posting pictures of there kids?

What if they just found the fountain of youth?

EDIT: Seriously. For the people here who have kids or want them, keep this in mind. There is no interesting story that you can tell that involves your kids unless you opened the door and (s)he was finishing a line off the stomach of a prostitute.

But you need to be a parent to understand.

They do it to show everyone what their kid looks like, but to me it's like living through the kid, or saying "I don't exist anymore." What I respect is when they have a picture of themselves with said kid instead... sadly, you just don't see many of those.MAILER_DAEMON

kinda agree with this. However, people who are parents at least feign interest when these stories are told.

But you need to be a parent to understand.

Because that's their major achievement in life - they reproduced. Their entire existence revolves around it, to the exclusion of all else. It's like those women you barely even know who will stick some huge stack of baby pictures in your hands and get insulted if you don't look at every freakin' one of the nearly identical things.

I don't know but baby profile pictures are boring. Babies all look the same unless it's ugly and no one wants to look at an ugly baby.shadowkiller11

No one wants to look at an ugly baby, but that doesn't stop people from commenting "Soooo gorgeous", or "what a beatiful baby" on a picture of one. Just stay silent in those situations.

Because they want attention.
