Why do people take so long to take a piss?

After years of only being able to take small thirty second or less tinkle breaks, i visited my doctor. He had me drink this orange stuff that actually expands when it reaches the bladder, so it stretches the bladder to extremely large volumes. I can now hold over 2 gallons of wee wee before i need to shoot it out my ding dong like a fire hose
