Why do people that are poor, starving, etc.. have kids?

If you had a crappy life and were starving to death, would you want to reproduce and bring another person into this world to be miserable also?

I'm sure they still feel love and follow through with desire. In severe situations (regions of Africa) they are probably "taken advantage of" by rebel militia forces. It's either let them do what they want or lose life or limb.

 Those are my guesses.

I have also observed poor people (that I've known) seem to like lots of pets they can't afford. Different but similar in some ways.

i dunnnooo...   in some of those countries it seems like an endless cycle of people living their lives in misery.  you're born into a world of misery, disease, cruelty, and living on just enough food to barely keep you alive and then if you're lucky enough to grow up, you decide to have sex and bring another human into the world that you'll barely even be able to take care of.

I doubt it because u wouldnt know what u were missing out on, since they have poor communication ppl in Africa barely know of the technological advancement other ppl enjoy, like the phone.

maybe that's the problem with most over there, maybe they don't really know how it is elsewhere. maybe they think their lives are normal and that everyone is in the same situation as them..  do they even know that the rest of the world exists???  are they taught anything about other countries?

Let me add to this. In America, why do people that are young and stupid have kids? Like the Kevin Federlines and Britney Spears of the world? Not just one kid, but kids plural.

Take away Spears and Federline's income and popularity and voila, that is almost every American their age. We don't need any more of those retards having children. Yet stupid bimbos and yo boys go clubbing every night have casual sex because well they're good looking to each other and end up with 15 children roaming around the house while tons of single parents drop out of high school or college and continue to go clubbing.

yeah, i see what you mean, i don't really agree with everyone's lifestyle either, BUT, at least they're enjoying their lives.  Lots of people out there just simply take up space and don't contribute much to society, but if they're happy, then why should anybody judge them?
