I don't get it.
When they first arrived on the planet,I can see them curious about how well we would defend ourselves and how tough we would be to kill, not knowing our technology.
But now they know were are all a bunch of noobs.
They can stealth us, they have thermal vision, they shoot us with lasers from quarter-mile away with pin-point accuracy and have all sorts of deadly traps and weapons we can't even see until they're already set upon us.
All we have are guns and they're useless unless you got Jessie the Body Ventura mowing down half the jungle with a Rail Gun. And even then it's just dumb luck if you manage to nick one with a bullet.
On the other hand, Aliens are MUCH more evolved creatures. They've got acid blood, they've got pack-hunter instincts, they are insanely agile and they are much more dangerous as far as population-control is concerned. They're also excellent trackers and have genetically superior survival instincts.
So why even bother hunting humans, except to harvest them as hosts for Aliens? It's a no-contest.
