Netflix? Good selection.BranKetrathat's pretty much it really. a lot of good tv shows. don't require the newest shows, and ever since hulu plus came about and started with charging AND ads, i stopped going to that site all together. i'd rather use Netflix, Crackle, and the new Neon Valley (for Anime) then use or even look at Hulu Plus

That is why i like netflix, i don't want to pay to watch ads
Tv shows and I really don't mind watching old or unpopular movies. In fact, it's because of Netflix, I discovered some really good but underappreciated movies and canceled tv shows.
I don't haha. The discs take a billion years to get to your home and MOST of the stuff on instant streaming is absolute trash.

Basically ^^this^^
Sure the movie selection is a bit of a mixed bag, you got some good and decent ones and some bad ones, but if you look for them you can find some really good gems that you would have never known about. And Netflix has a lot of foriegn films and shows on it which allows me to learn a language a bit. I have picked up an actually decent Korean vocabulary just from watching Korean content on Netflix.
Though they could hurry up and be a bit faster with getting new content, but overall they give a good deal for your $10 a month. I would grade Netflix a B.
You get a good supply of TV shows, movies, and documentaries for a decent monthly price. Plus it beats paying for cable/satellite.
hulu+ sucks so bad.
i just got through with the 2 month free trial and find it hard to believe anyone would pay for hulu.
it's mindblowing that simple things like keeping track of where you are in a season and restarting where you left off are not in it.
oh yeah and i forgot about the commercials.
you pay and have to sit through those? really?
Well, unlike Hulu you can also rent movies/TV shows on Netflix. Hulu does not have as much of a collection as Netflix. I don't see why more people don't support Hulu, though. Well, I know why... omg omg commercials. Every show I watched on Hulu might have seen maybe one or two commercials max and apparently that 30 seconds is too much for people. Besides you pay 8 dollars a month for streaming shows that probably cost like hundreds of thousands to a million dollars to stream. And people wonder why there's commercials. That's why Netflix keeps taking down content. Either that or put commercials and people want neither. And I guess with their renting DVD/Blu-ray revenue they use that plus streaming subscribers to keep it commercial free.MistressMinako
They charge you money to keep it commercial free. That's why people pay to use it. Commercial free unlimited streaming and the option to get movies shipped to you in the mail if you want them. I can watch a lot of current shows on Hulu for free. Why on earth would I give them my money? There's a reason I don't watch TV and one of the big reasons is the outrageous cost followed by commercials crammed down your throat and a terrible selection of shows. I refuse to pay for another service that shoehorns in commercials while still charging me when there is clearly a better service available.
I'm getting mixed signals here, can you or can you not watch a new episode of your favorite show each week as they come out with netflix? Or do you have to wait for them to come out on dvd?
You have to wait until the rights are given to Netflix to air it which I forget exactly how long but its a few months I believe.I'm getting mixed signals here, can you or can you not watch a new episode of your favorite show each week as they come out with netflix?
