Why do you live?

I live solely because I am afraid of killing myself. I wish that I had never been born, but now that I am alive it feels unnatural and rather unplesant to end my life. I have an illogical need to live... it is very inconvenient. So why do you live?

Probably grasping at straws and fooling myself to think that there's probably some substantial payoff down the road.........

Oh, and loved ones...............That too...........

Videogames,my gf,friends..,maybe a deeper meaning.

I live mostly to experience life in its entirety. Every day things like a good book read, walking the dogs, waking up every morning, working out, having a pint at the pub, etc etc keep me going :).

Because dying would be a horrible disappointment to everyone I know. Also I imagine death isn't terribly interesting. Ace6301

If you have succesfully done what you want and supposed to do,and have no desire in staying back,your soul will ascend to the higher planes.

If not,you'll most likely reincarnate.

For me, it's the simple fact that we're blessed with the sensation of enjoyment, due to some chemical response in the brain. It feels good, and I try to provoke it as much as possible. There's is no ultimate reason of life to our knowledge, but that's not a bad thing though. We create our own reasons and we enjoy basking in them. It's a gift. Perhaps life is infinite and we're stuck in a constant circle of death and re-birth, or perhaps it's a one time occurrence. Either way, what's the point in missing out on this possible one time experience by moping and complaining about the bad things? If you only ever concentrated on the bad, you'd always fail to see the good.
