Because they think all gamers from around the world can hear what they have to say imo

Because with the current ruleset its the only place you can mention anything even remotely derogatory about a system or its games, even if it is completely valid and in a civil manner without being moderated with point loss.

I do it for the post count.

It is the place I post in the most after all, even more than OT.

I love to argue with fanboys, always makes me laugh every time.

To be honest sometimes you can get into a intelligent debate with someone about a game, console, and or pc. Most of the time though its a bunch of posters who just dislike a game because they choose to and just argue for no reason. Just to stir up the put I guess.

Depends, some people take it seriously, and feel the need to argue over their favorite systems. Others do it for entertainment, and me I personally enjoy SW since its one of the more high traffic boards that focuses on games. I prefer the GGD, but it gets less posts and traffic so...

People like to argue.

ok to be completely honest i went to system wars a couple time and its like the home of the mega nerds. im not tryin to be an ass but i was actually amazed.

A huge amount of topics posted in System Wars could easily be posted in General Game Discussion (except pole type threads), alot of people just post in System Wars because topics will get alot more attention opposed to General Game Discussion, considering SW has established itself as the far more popular forum. Personally I find System Wars to be really dull at times with all the topics on Graphics, Sales, etc etc etc.

To argue over mostly graphics it seems.

I mostly post there out of boredom and to read funny fanboy rants.

Because system wars is some serious business.

System Wars is home to the newest gaming news. I seriously find out about new games from system wars before any other website I visit.
