Why Does Everyone Here Think Theyre Tough Guys?

not here as in gamespot, but in general some guys go out of their way to act tough. Have you ever encounted these so-called tough guys that try and test your patience?

Here's something that happened to me like 3 months ago. I just went up to a dude and girlfriend and politely asked if he had change for a dollar and he told me to F-off for no reason. It doesn't even make sense, I didn't come up to him in a malicious manner but he still tried to embarass me (probably to impress his girl). And when I was walking away he said 'and don't look at my girl either' and I just responded 'yeah whatever tough guy' and went on my way. It's stuff like this that pisses me off!:evil:

Well that's pretty lame way for somebody to act. I don't see why people should be so agressive towards new situations, although in your case I would say it was just to impress the girl. But then again, what kind of girl could be impressed by a douchebag like that?Berzz

yeah i figured it was all just a show to impress his girl because she was laughing the whole time. And they looked kinda preppy, they weren't 'gangstas' or anything

Because they're in touch with their inner animal (bad thing, really) and are "protecting their territory". I imagine they also "mark" the toliet seat all the time :P.

I would have just said either "Why would I want to look at that? (while giving the Eww gross look)" or "I was just wanted to look at you (Wink)"

Yeah, I hate those guys. There was this one little dweeb at the place I work who kept saying **** to me to impress the three girls that work there. So finally I got fed up and got in his face about it (well, seeing as how short he was I put my chest in his face). He tried to do some dumb wrestling move on me in an effort to trip me, so I just grabbed him around the waist and threw him into the wall. Punk.OPRFWrestler112

Usually I jsut ignore them, but I was just in a generally bad mood that day :P

If he really offended me (not very likely) or a friend of mine (more likely) I would've started to turn away, start walking, and swing around and nail him in the nose. Kick in balls, stomp on feet, then run. You would outrun him easily.

lol, yah, its just too boring. Whenever I'm here I'm only here because I'm too tired to be out there lol, thus, I usually dont care about what anyone says

Although, actually I'm like that alot in real life too though. But I'm a 5'8" atletic 19 year old drivin a bmw, no one messes with me. I'm too old for that. Once you finish high school no one does that kind of stuff anymore

In my school, there are kids who say crap like that to me in front of their friends in an effort to "look badass and cool" at my expense.

And that's exactly why I can't wait to get out of my high school. The "cool" (football players and basketball players) kids are too douchebaggish for me.

I never resort to douchebaggery unless it's absolutely necessary (which is never).

EDIT: When people say that crap to me I just ignore it. There's not much anyone can do about it anyway. If the guy wants to look cool just let 'em.

But there are people like this EVERYWHERE. Preppies that think they're hard, about %90 are wussies, from experience, when you call a prep's bluff, he hits back with another one, and preps even if they DO fight you, they wont hurt you, maybe a few bruises, thats all though.
