Why Does G4 Keep Hiring Pretty Woman That Don't Know Nothing?

So I started watching Attack of the Show again, and I keep noticing that the show has a habit of bringing in woman that don't know nothing about the material that they're talking about, video games or tech.

Can someone explain this to me?

Or a better queestion is, why did G4 change from a gaming/technology channel to a FOX 2?

This sounds bad, but I'd much prefer an attractive woman who knows nothing about the subject matter than an ugly woman who knows everything about it. I mean, it's TV.
