Why does no one use 'pwned' anymore?

Is it old and un-cool?

I've never been one for using the LOL, ROFL. GTFO type stuff - maybe I'm too old!

What are the latest ones? Do you have favourites to use?

Pwn became uncool the moment History and Nat Geo started showing Pawn shop shows. Pwn and Pawn are just too similar and you risk being confused for one of those people.

pwnd was as uncool as when the Rock made the word Jabroni. These words should have died the moment they were created lol.

Why did even they use it to begin with?

fret not, i forecast 'owned' reaching a 'bling bling' pandemic status within the next few months. i certainly hope it wont be as loathsomely epic as bling was with older people trying to be initiated.

I use the word "raped", when gaming.

Because we aren't 12 anymore.

We left it in the sea of crap from last decade like "groovy" in the 70s and "awesome to the max" in the 80s.

I'd guess that it's because of the letter "O" being right next to the letter "P" on the standard QWERTY keyboard.
