Why doesn't Machinima make Machinima's anymore?

All they have now are Multiplayer games with Commentaries, and of them are COD. It reminds me of History channel "It use to be about History, now its about ice road truckers" similar things has happen to the discovery channel, the Music industry, and everything else! Why is this happening to the world of Entertainment!?!?

They do its just very rare, the only shows I actually tune into are Inside Gaming, Arby n' the Chief (been their since the beginning), Freeman's Mind which to me is the greatest Machinima they got and the Top Ten series.

Same reason why MTV doesn't play music..

I know who that is. Rather, I recognize the username from a Youtube video or two. Heehee, I feel so "in" with Internet culture, I must be part of the elite now.

People like the gameplay commentaries and they're easier to make than real machinimas.

There aren't as many people making machinimas as there are people making trailers for video games.

Freeman's mind was good but they never finished it, I hate that because the Nihilanth battle with commentary would be hilarious.

Hes still making them they are on episode 31 or something like that he just releases very slowly i imagine its tons of work editing it

As machinima partner and i agree, the only machinima i usually see now is freemans mind. I love all the old awesome videos like Gman Squad.

Now it feels more and more like commentaries is taking over, they get old fast for me. But people really enjoy them.
