Why doesn't McDonalds serve burgers and fries 24/7?

I would really like a McDouble and fries right now but stupid Sunday breakfast runs until 11 AM. "Sorry sir, its breakfast hours you have to order from the breakfast menu." :evil:

What?! That's insane! I've had more than an occasion where I ordered a Big Mac in the morning.

I have no idea why they don't, Jack in the Box let's you order anything from their menu any time of day.

What happened to good ol' fried eggs n ham for breakfast.

I know I've had a double cheese burger at 6am more than a few times :)

I think all 24/7 Burger Kings serve burgers 24/7... But I'm not sure if they're around other than inside airports.

I'm guessing your only craving a McDonalds burger right now though.

They explained this on the Food Network once. Apparently, they cook their breakfast at a different temperature than the rest of their menu. I don't understand why they just don't have a second grill going with the normal temperature so people can continue ordering burgers and fries.judog1

More importantly, why doesn't McDonalds serve pancakes 24/7. If I want pancakes for dinner, then I want them no matter what McDonalds says. :x

because people like a MickyD's bbreakfast? Honestly I find their breakfast to be inifinitely better than their lunch and dinner menu.

Nothing better than a sausage and egg mcmuffin after a night out :P

I don't like fast food. But, it doesn't bother me if people like it.
