I put a blank CD in the computer, and when I go into "My Computer" and click on the CD Drive ( D: ), it doesn't recognize that theres a CD in the computer and says "Please insert a disc into drive D:" But when I put a CD that has saved files in the computer, the computer recognizes it... What do I do to make the computer recognize the blank CD, so I can save files on it?

Well, if your question is "Why doesn't my computer doesn't recognize a blank CD?" then I don't see a problem here.

Hahaha, yeah I was just being a smartass. Wouldn't you need a data burning program to add files to the CD? Last time I checked you just cant drag it in there, I use Nero so its been a long time since I have done it manually.

Well you buy it... but there should be a trial around somewhere. Google "nero burner".

its just a blank Silvania disc... and what's weird is that the computer notices CD's with saved files in them, but when you put a blank CD in the computer, it pretends its not even in there...
