Why dont people here give serious advice?

If you have a serious problem or issue and post it in OT, most of the posts are ridiculous. Then some point you in another direction "this does not belong in OT", "why are you asking for advice on the internetz?".

Then theres people like you who actually answer. Whats up with this lack of seriousness in a serious topic phenomenon?

Because we are fed up with the "I have a girl problem" therads???

If the problem is not girl related I tend to be serious, if it is I am not going to be :|

People just don't know what to say, but they have to say something....aaaaarrrrggggg
